GST e-invoicing: a checklist for growing businesses

E-invoicing thresholds keep dropping, so more businesses need an Invoice Reference Number (IRN) on every B2B invoice.

Before you switch

  • Confirm your aggregate turnover against the current threshold
  • Clean up customer GSTINs and place-of-supply data
  • Decide who in your team can generate and cancel IRNs

An e-invoice can only be cancelled within 24 hours on the IRP. After that, issue a credit note.

Invoice360 validates GSTINs as you type and generates the IRN and QR code when you send.
